Entry-Level, Field-Based Sales Representative

Surface Experts is hiring an entry-level, field-based sales representative to help grow our presence with apartment communities, hotels, assisted living facilities, and residential builders.

This role is ideal for someone early in their career who enjoys being out in the field, meeting people in person, and building relationships. You do not need formal sales experience. You do need to be comfortable spending most of your day on the road and walking into commercial properties.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Visit apartment communities, hotels, and job sites throughout the day
• Meet with property managers, leasing teams, maintenance supervisors, and facilities staff
• Walk units and common areas to identify surface repair opportunities
• Introduce Surface Experts services and book repair work
• Manage your daily route and schedule independently
• Log activity, notes, and follow-ups in our system
• Typical days include 1015 on-site visits

This is an outside, field-based role. You will not be sitting behind a desk.

• Apartment and multifamily property managers

• Hotel chief engineers and facilities teams
• Assisted and senior living communities
• Residential builders and construction project managers

This is a strong fit for candidates with experience in:

• Customer service or hospitality
• Property management or leasing
• Facilities, maintenance, or construction support roles
• Entry-level sales or business development

No Sales Experience Required: No prior industry experience, degree, or formal sales experience is needed. We can teach the process; we can't teach these traits:

• Coachable eager to learn, open to feedback, takes responsibility for results, and willing to run a proven sales playbook.
• Curious comfortable asking questions and seeks to serve customers by understanding them first
• Detail-Oriented executes daily habits (routing, documenting metrics, sending follow-ups) that turn activity into revenue, consistently.

Compensation:

• Base salary ($40,000.00) + commission + bonuses
• Company car for sales routes
