Get ready to take your career to new heights! We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Tax Manager to join our Public Accounting firm. This is a fantastic opportunity to leverage your skills and expertise in both personal and business tax in a rewarding environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing tax duties and ensuring compliance with all state and federal tax laws. This role requires a minimum of 3+ years of experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities :

As a Tax Manager, your primary role will be to oversee and manage all tax-related activities. This includes but is not limited to :

1. Conducting comprehensive tax reviews and audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with federal and state tax laws.

2. Developing and implementing effective business tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities and maximize profits.

3. Preparing and filing tax returns for the company, ensuring timely submission and adherence to all relevant tax laws and regulations.

4. Providing expert tax planning advice to help the company make informed financial decisions.

5. Identifying potential tax credits and savings opportunities and advising management accordingly.

6. Keeping up-to-date with current tax laws and regulations and informing relevant stakeholders of any significant changes that may impact the company.

7. Resolving tax-related issues promptly and professionally.

8. Collaborating with other departments to ensure accurate reporting and compliance.

9. Providing training and guidance to junior staff on tax-related matters.

Qualifications :

To be considered for the Permanent Tax Manager position, you must possess the following :

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. A Master's degree or CPA certification is highly desirable.

2. A minimum of 3+ years of experience in tax management or a related role.

3. Extensive knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations.

4. Proven experience in tax planning and business tax strategies.

5. Exceptional skills in tax review and preparing tax returns.

6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

7. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

8. High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

9. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

10. Strong leadership skills and the ability to mentor and guide junior staff.

11. Proficiency in tax software and other relevant computer applications.
