Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, active Social Worker license and minimum 1+ years School Social Work experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This full-time, onsite social work position supports a K-12 school environment in Flint, MI, focusing primarily on one elementary school building. The role spans a contract duration from ASAP through June 4, 2026, with a Monday through Friday schedule from 8 : 15 a.m. to 3 : 25 p.m., totaling 35 to 36.25 hours per week.

Responsibilities include conducting prehensive evaluations and managing special education eligibility processes for a caseload prising approximately 26 special education students and around 50 general education students. The position involves delivering direct social work services designed to support students' academic and social-emotional needs. As an essential member of the educational team, attending Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and collaborating on the creation of IEPs are critical ponents of the job.

• Proven experience working in school settings, specifically in K-12 environments.
• Strong knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and eligibility criteria.
• Ability to conduct evaluations and provide tailored direct services to students.
