Part timeShift times and shift length: 24hrs per week 6:30p-7a, 3-4 weekends shifts in a 6 wk period, wkends are Sat and Sunday night shift Sign on Bonus: no sign on bonusCovid Vaccine Requirement: NoGeneral Duties: Under general supervision monitors cardiac rhythms or patients in special care units via telemetry equipment. Performs related clerical duties such as answering routine questions, taking/relaying calls, ect.Job Description Telemetry Monitor Technician would be monitoring all patients on telemetry on 2 12 units within the Heart Hospital at Edward Hospital - all the 2nd floor, 12 of 3rd floor, and all the 8th floor for a maximum of 70 patients (if every patient on the 2nd & 8th floor & 12 of 3rd floor were on telemetry). MTs will be a hybrid role where staff can work as a monitor tech or patient care tech.Required Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED required. Previous experience or telemetry certification Preferred Qualifications: At least 3-6 months of previous healthcare/ monitor tech experience preferred.License Required: n/aCertificates Required: CPR from AHA or Red Cross required.
