APPLICATION SALES ENGINEER
Working location : USA Field
General Description
Reporting to the Regional Manager, the goal of this position is to sell paper machine clothing to the industrial and / or paper manufacturing market
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS
- Optimize operating efficiencies of customers’ equipment utilizing proprietary modeling software programs.
- Ensure trouble-free runs of paper machine clothing through proper selection of products to meet application needs and follow-up inspection services during machine down-days.
- Work with customers to solve machine operating problems through innovative applications of paper machine clothing, and services.
- Develop strong inter-reliant relationships with customers through quality on-site service and social interaction.
- Provide customer feedback to manufacturing plants, applications team, research, and sales management.
- Manage the post-sale activities of an order to ensure timely deliveries of a quality product.
- Mitigate warranty settlement costs while maintaining customer relationships and confidence in AFR paper machine clothing products.
- Communicates field activity, including sales opportunities, inter-company items, and competitive issues to the appropriate Regional Manager.
- Manage an expense budget within the guidelines provided.
- Take ownership of a specified territory and devise strategies to meet sales objectives.
- Perform other job-related functions as assigned.
