[job_card.job_description]Inpatient cardiology consultation rounds Work alongside a local Advanced Practice Provider (APP) for support 7 days a week Responsible for evaluating and responding to cardiology consults Approximate daily rounds of 24 patients, averaging six new consults daily Procedures required : Echocardiography (including transesophageal) Electrical cardioversions Electrocardiograms (EKGs) Chemical stress tests Tilt table tests Board Certified in Non-Invasive Cardiology Required Active Michigan Medical License or willingness to obtain Required ACLS Certification Required Familiarity with EPIC EMR system is beneficial but not mandatory Advanced, energy-efficient facility with state-of-the-art technology 348 total beds, including 30 ICU beds Level II Trauma designation Collaborative team of eight cardiologists, providing strong peer support Primarily adult and geriatric populations Full-service OB on-site; pediatric cases transferred to specialized facilities as needed Competitive hourly rate with potential additional rates for holiday and overtime shifts Travel reimbursements including flight, hotel, rental car, and mileage at IRS standard rate Note : Credentialing fees are not reimbursed Up-to-date CV (including prior locum tenens experience if applicable) Availability dates Provider's NPI and / or Michigan License Number Malpractice and / or background documentation References, if available
