Job Title : Pharmacy Technician (Inpatient)

Location : Ithaca NY 14850

Duration : 13 Weeks (Contract)

Shift : Day Shift MondayFriday (7 : 00 AM3 : 00 PM or 7 : 30 AM4 : 00 PM)

Weekend Rotation : (7 : 00 AM3 : 00 PM or 2 : 00 PM10 : 00 PM)

Hours per Week : 40

Pay : $32.00$35.00 / hour

Position Summary

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Pharmacy Technician (Inpatient) for an exciting job in Ithaca NY.

Responsibilities

Prepare and distribute medications according to provider or pharmacist directives.

Refill automated dispensing systems and emergency kits; rotate stock to maintain proper inventory.

Prepare sterile compounds (IV admixtures chemotherapy and parenteral nutrition) using aseptic techniques.

Repackage bulk medications into accurate unit-dose forms.

Assist with ordering receiving unpacking and stocking medications and supplies.

Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation.

Conduct monthly inspections of medication storage locations and remove outdated products.

Adhere to sterile compounding regulations and all safety standards.

Perform other pharmacy support duties as needed.

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Nationally accredited Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB or NHA).

Active New York State Registered Pharmacy Technician license.

Preferred Qualifications

23 years of inpatient or hospital pharmacy technician experience.
