What You Will Be Doing

• Performing thorough patient evaluations, requesting essential diagnostic tests, and developing individualized treatment strategies
• Diagnosing and managing acute, chronic, or episodic health conditions independently or in collaboration with physicians, in accordance with your credentials
• Educating patients and their families on health promotion, prevention strategies, and management of diseases
• Prescribing therapeutic interventions and medications as permitted by your practice authority
• Engaging in patient follow-ups and overseeing chronic care management
• Working alongside interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless and comprehensive patient care
• Accurately documenting patient encounters within electronic health records (EHR)

Educational Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner educational program

Licensure and Certifications Required

• Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of Tennessee
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or an equivalent certification in your specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or capability to secure these within 90 days)
