Urological Associates of Savannah has an immediate opening for an experienced Appointment Secretary. Must have strong communication and computer skills and previous experience working in a medical office setting using an electronic scheduling system. Position is benefited with a Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM work schedule. Only those with significant experience in this role should apply as pace demands thorough knowledge of medical insurances, medical terminology, appointment setting, as well as superb computer and communication skills.

General Summary of Duties: Responsible for taking patient referrals via phone, fax or other means and scheduling appointments for those referrals. This role also acts as Telephone Receptionist for the practice.

Education: High School Diploma or GED required

Experience: Minimum of one (1) year of experience in an appointment scheduling position or customer service position, preferably in a medical office setting.

Requirements: Word processing and computer experience desired
