A Typical Day...
As an Associate Operations Leader, you will play a vital role in supporting a retail tax office during the peak tax season. Your focus will be on exceeding client expectations and guiding the daily operations of the office. You will start with a flexible part-time schedule in late fall and transition to full-time from January through April.
It would be an advantage if you also have :
Experience managing or supervising teams

What you’ll contribute to the team...
Support the Multi-Unit Team Leader by being the primary contact for tax office associates and clients, ensuring high-quality service execution that promotes the H&R Block brand.
Enforce accountability among tax office associates for the client service experience, escalating issues to the Multi-Unit Team Leader and District General Manager as needed.
Act as the primary contact for any onsite escalated client service issues.
Oversee the scheduling of clients and resolve any conflicts, with the ability to escalate matters when necessary.
Lead from the front desk with effective phone coverage and engaging client interactions to ensure an outstanding experience.
Oversee daily operations to confirm that all associates are scheduled, and their tasks are completed on time, adhering to our quality standards and overall goals.
Conduct daily huddles to communicate essential information with office associates.
Your Qualifications
Previous experience in customer service or a related field.
Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage daily office operations effectively.
A customer-centric mindset combined with strong communication abilities.
Proficiency in computer applications, including MS Office.
Demonstrated capacity to work independently with minimal oversight.
Availability to work a flexible schedule of up to 40 hours per week based on business needs.
High school diploma or equivalent education.
