Senior Financial Reporting Analyst

Position Summary :

The SEC Financial Reporting Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the preparation and filing of financial statements in accordance with SEC regulations and GAAP. This role ensures timely and accurate filings, including 10-Ks, 10-Qs, 8-Ks, and other SEC reports. The Supervisor will also assist in managing internal controls, quarterly reviews, and annual audits.

Key Responsibilities :

Oversee and manage the preparation of SEC filings, including 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K reports.

Review financial statements and disclosures for compliance with SEC and GAAP requirements.

Collaborate with external auditors, providing requested documentation and information.

Ensure accurate and timely submission of all filings within SEC deadlines.

Assist in the development and implementation of internal controls related to financial reporting.

Provide guidance and mentorship to junior financial reporting staff.

Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial reporting.

Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred).

Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial reporting or SEC filings, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.

Strong understanding of SEC regulations, GAAP, and financial reporting standards.

Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.

Proficient in financial software and MS Excel.
