[job_card.job_description]Minimum of 2 years of experience with medical records processing in a licensed medical facility. Excellent communication skills (verbal and writing) to obtain and communicate clear and precise information Ability to e-file alphabetically and numerically Knowledge and skill in the use of scanner, fax, and electronic health record technology Ability to identify problems and problem-solve independently. Excellent Interpersonal and organizational skills. Proficient in computer programs, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook) and Microsoft Teams. Ability to use external systems to obtain medical information (i.e., CAIR, EPIC, CARECONNECT, LANES, MEDPOINT, RADIOLOGY Portals). Able to respond to requests in a high-paced environment Experience training others Ability to travel between our Venice Family Clinic locations as needed.

The Medical Records Clerk II will perform a full range of duties in the Medical Records Department, including but not limited to :
- Ensure medical records are maintained in a manner compliant with HIPAA rules and regulations to protect Patient Health Information (PHI).
- Fulfills medical records requests related to area of subpoenas, Legal requests, disability, social security, and all other general release of medical records
- Manages medical records workflows and advises management on backlogs where necessary
- Answers team member questions, helps with team member problems, and oversees team member work for quality and guideline compliance.
Salary range : $26.42 - $37.49 hourly

Required :
Preferred : Bilingual in both Spanish and English
