About the Position :
As a Building Maintenance Technician with CBRE, you'll play a crucial role in the upkeep of buildings and industrial systems. This position primarily supports our Healthcare sector, particularly in the acute care facility in Lisbon, ND. This is a unique opportunity to work in diverse settings while ensuring the operation of essential systems runs smoothly. Key Responsibilities :
- Perform preventive maintenance and repairs across mechanical, electrical, and various building systems.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues and carry out necessary repairs.
- Assist in the installation and modification processes for building equipment and systems.
- Manage assigned work orders effectively, using system tools to track progress.
- Ensure energy efficiency and optimal operation of all building systems.
- Inspect installations for adherence to building codes and safety standards.
- Use established procedures to troubleshoot routine problems and communicate information effectively.
- Contribute to team goals by following clear procedures and attending to defined tasks under supervision.
Qualifications :
High School Diploma or equivalent, with 1-2 years of relevant experience. Equivalent combinations of experience and education will be considered.Physical capability to handle job demands including stooping, standing, walking, climbing, and lifting heavy items (50 lbs or more).Ability to adhere to established work processes and standards.Effective communication skills for simple information exchanges.Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.Strong organizational skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving.Why Choose CBRE?
