Material Handler

Job title : Material Handler I

Location : North Tucson

Salary / rate : $18.00 / hr

Requirements : Must be a U.S. Citizen

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITES :

The person in this role will support the warehouse / stockroom and be responsible for inventory records including counting, storing, records comparison, and rotating stock in the warehouse or stockroom on a daily basis.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Stocks and issues materials or supplies.
  • Packing & Unpacking of materials.
  • Computer knowledge a must

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent required. Some college-level business-related courses preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years general knowledge of warehouse / stockroom environment.
  • Must have basic math skills, read pick lists, data printouts, bills of material and other documents. Accuracy of data entry, accounts and record keeping is essential.
  • General knowledge of warehouse / stockroom procedures. Must be detail-oriented with good mathematical abilities.
  • Ability to apply common sense to carry out written or oral instructions a must.
  • Must have ability to work as a team member to achieve the company's quality and production standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required to work with production employees and managers.
  • Ability to key in data, type, and operate a computer keyboard needed.
  • Must be flexible with overtime and weekends, as necessary.
