Environmental Scientist

A company is looking for a Scientist (Part-Time) to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team on research objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Perform computations and process data using computer software or established methods

Assist in preparing technical reports to document project findings, conclusions, and recommendations

Collect and interpret data through research, field observations, and other methods

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or Climate Science; advanced degree preferred

5-10 years of experience in environmental remediation

Experience with contaminant fate and transport modeling in sediment environments

Technical expertise in programming and / or advanced mathematical concepts (R preferred)

Knowledge of hydrodynamics and sediment transport processes
