A mental health organization in Western New York is currently seeking a licensedForensic Inpatient Psychiatrist to join their growing team in Rochester. Responsibilities : TheForensic Inpatient Psychiatrist will be responsible for : Providing lethality assessments, suicide precautions and forensic evaluations when needed Ordering laboratory tests or diagnostic assessments, including consultation with medical specialty providers Performing first aid and medical triage, including initial physical examination on new admissions in the event that a Physician is not on site Providingrestraint and seclusion Providingpsychiatric services via Video Teleconference Performing other duties, as needed Qualifications : License to practice medicine in New York State Board Certified Adult Psychiatrist by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology Valid National Provider Identification Number (NPI) Valid Federal Narcotics Number (DEA Number) Enrolled in CMS and remain an unconditional participating provider in the Medicare and Medicaid OPRA programs Desired Skills : Forensic Board Certification Your privacy is important to us.
