Medication Aide

Pay : $909.00 to $1133.00 weekly

Assignment Length : 14 Weeks

Certifications : BLS, State licensed, Geriatric Nurse assist cert-MA, State CMA

Skills : Abnormal / Normal Vital sign parameters (Adult and Pedi), Aspiration precautions, Assist with feeding patient, Assist with turning and repositioning, Blood pressure medications, Call lights, Cleaning of equipment, Donning and removing PPE, Ear Medication / Drops, Electronic vital sign equipment, Eye Drops, Eye Ointment, Fluid restrictions, Isolation Precautions, Lifting and pulling proper body mechanics, Limb restrictions, Long Term Acute Care (LTAC), Measure / record drain output, Nasal Drops, Nasal Spray, Normal Vital signs parameters (Adult and Pedi), NPO status, Obtain Blood pressure, including orthostatic, Obtain patient Respirations, Obtain pulse (radial), Obtain Temperature (oral, rectal, axillary, Tympanic), Oral Liquid, Oral Tablet / Capsule, Oxygen tanks, Patient Identification methods, Proper waste disposal, Recognizing cardiac arrest, Recognizing patient needs, Reporting change in patient condition, Rest / sleep / comfort preparation, Sharps disposal, Skilled Nursing, Standard precautions, Topical Creams, Topical Ointments, ADLs
