Construction Superintendent

Job Description

A client of ours is looking for a Superintendent within the Healthcare space to join their team. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience within Healthcare Construction. Please apply if this role interests you, the client is looking to move quickly!!

• Manages on-site personnel and subcontractors - Coordinates the work of various trades, ensures crews arrive on schedule, and resolves conflicts between different teams working on the project.
• Ensures project stays on schedule and within budget - Creates and maintains construction schedules, tracks progress against timelines and identifies potential delays before they become major problems.
• Enforces safety protocols and compliance - Conducts daily safety inspections, ensures workers follow OSHA regulations and company safety policies, and maintains a safe working environment for everyone on site.
• Serves as the primary communication hub - Acts as the liaison between project managers, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients, ensuring everyone has the information they need and that issues are communicated up the chain.
• Handles quality control and problem-solving - Inspects work to ensure it meets specifications and building codes, addresses construction issues as they arise, and makes on-the-spot decisions to keep the project moving forward
