Pay : $20.00–$28.00 / hour (based on experience)

Shift : Nights | Monday–Thursday, 3 : 00 PM–1 : 30 AM

Job Summary :

The Machine Operator is responsible for setting up and operating production machinery, including drill lines, press brakes, shears, burn tables, and transfer tables, while meeting quality and safety standards. This role requires reading blueprints, adjusting machine settings, and ensuring accurate, on-time production.

Essential Responsibilities :

Operate and monitor production machines according to work orders and specifications

Read and interpret blueprints, cut sheets, and diagrams

Inspect materials before, during, and after processing to ensure quality

Adjust machine settings and troubleshoot basic mechanical issues

Perform basic machine maintenance and preventative checks

Safely operate forklifts, hoists, and overhead cranes as needed

Maintain a clean, safe work environment and comply with company and OSHA policies

Qualifications :

High school diploma or GED

Minimum 6 months of machine operating experience

Experience working with metal materials and fabrication equipment

Ability to multitask, adapt to changing priorities, and meet deadlines

Physical Requirements :

Ability to stand for extended periods

Lift and move up to 50 lbs

Continuous use of hands, arms, and legs requires strength, coordination, and stamina
