The Opportunity

Sales support position. Must be detailed and customer service oriented and have excellent organizational skills. Position requires a high level of correspondence with the sales team and with customers & vendors. Must be strong in Microsoft applications and be able to work well with others in a fast-paced & high-volume environment.

Primary focus :

Track ship dates and assisting with communication to customers regarding shipping updates
Order Entry for projects involving third party manufacturers
Communicate effectively with other team members concerning project management process
Generates submittal and job documents for customer review and approval
Assists with distribution and receipt of submittals
Responsible for general administrative functions to support the equipment fulfillment process
Gain proficiency in manufacturer programs and making equipment selections.
Communicate and interact effectively with manufacturers that Fields Mechanical Systems represents
Responsible for generating, interpreting and printing various assigned reports.

Key Qualifications & Education :

Associate's degree in business or related field preferred

3 or more years' Project Management experience

Strong PC skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

HVAC, Mechanical Contracting, Engineering or Construction industry experience a plus

Other Key Requirements / Abilities

Demonstrated self-motivation, reliability, and the ability to work independently, allowing you to efficiently handle tasks and responsibilities.

A willingness to embrace and adapt to evolving HVAC technologies and industry best practices, ensuring you remain at the forefront of your fields' needs effectively.

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret graphs.

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Mental stamina for problem solving and prioritizing multiple tasks.

Will be required to work in an office environment and possibly, occasionally in the field.
