Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Data Architect with strong expertise in data modeling and cloud-based data solutions on Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience designing scalable data architectures, working with enterprise systems such as SAP ECC, and supporting data migration initiatives. Prior exposure to the World Bank Group (WBG) and SAFe Agile environments is a strong advantage. The role requires flexibility to work during off‑hours for critical IT tasks, system maintenance, and migration cutovers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain enterprise data architecture, ensuring scalability, performance, and alignment with business objectives.
  • Build and optimize data models, including conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
  • Lead data integration and data migration initiatives across cloud and on‑prem environments.
  • Work extensively with Microsoft Azure services (Azure SQL, Data Lake, Synapse, Data Factory, etc.).
  • Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and business teams to ensure data solutions meet enterprise standards.
  • Support data‑related activities in SAP ECC environments, including extraction, transformation, and integration.
  • Contribute to Agile ceremonies and follow SAFe Agile processes (if certified).
  • Provide off‑hours support for critical IT tasks, migration windows, or production releases.
  • Ensure compliance with enterprise security, governance, and quality standards.

Required Qualifications

  • Strong expertise in data architecture and data model design.
  • Hands‑on and in‑depth experience with Microsoft Azure (core requirement).
  • Experience working with SAP ECC (preferred).
  • Prior experience supporting or working with the World Bank Group (WBG) (a plus).
  • SAFe Agile certification (a plus).
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings or weekends, to support critical IT and migration tasks.
