In this position, you will take on many leadership responsibilities, which may include mentoring more junior engineers, testing their designs, and setting a budget for the entire project.

You will also help keep the project on a strict timeline.

In addition to several years of experience under your belt, you should also have a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering. Time spent in a management position is also beneficial.

Duties and Responsibilities

· Draft designs for machines

· Oversee and mentor junior engineers

· Build, test, and inspect designs

· Set a budget and timeline for each project

Requirements and Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering (Master's degree preferred)

· 10+years of engineering experience

· Management or leadership experience

· Proficiency with drafting software, such as AutoCAD

· Strong communication skills
