[job_card.job_description]High School Diploma or GED required. Associate’s degree or higher is strongly preferred. A minimum of 2 years’ administrative / office support experience is required. Must be at least 21 and have a Valid drivers’ license. Candidates must pass an MVR check, background check and drug test. Must possess strong computer and typing skills. Applicants must be proficient in both Microsoft Word and Excel. Ability to work in and support a very fast-paced work environment, demanding work schedule that includes early mornings, evenings, and some weekends. Good communication skills are essential, as is a cooperative attitude toward coworkers, customers and contractors Must be able to prioritize and re-prioritize as needed in a fast-paced working environment, especially when dealing with time sensitive issues Ability to complete assigned tasks having high productivity with minimal to no supervision.

The Fiber Administrative Assistant will perform a variety of administrative tasks and support while working directly with our network team. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, professional, and can manage and prioritize a high-level of diverse and deadline driven tasks. The office is located in Grand Island, NE and due to the nature of this position, remote work is not available for this role.
Roles and Responsibilities :
- Support Management and Construction teams by organizing and tracking projects related to engineering and construction
- Create, track, and manage project scheduling spreadsheets and reports
- Maintain, update and upload network documents to Quickbase database
- Track, Order and maintain a complete list of all network materials
- Obtain and track insurance certificates for contractors, and ensure all contractors hired provide proper certificates of insurance for each project
- Manage records which include tracking projects, permit applications, and materials
- Perform other office tasks / other data entry as needed
