About the Role
We're looking for a Senior Sales Engineer who will manage all technical aspects of the sales cycle and also act as a liaison between our Sales, Product, Security, Professional Services teams. This individual will be a pivotal member of our sales team, acting as a thought partner and co-pilot for our Account Executives throughout the sales cycle.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
- Be a trusted advisor. You'll go beyond surface-level conversations to understand customer's technical needs, systems, and roadblocks. You'll then craft a tailored solution that addresses their specific pain points.
- Bring our product to life. You'll be the expert on our entire product suite, especially our APIs and integration capabilities. You'll build and deliver customized, high-impact product demos that prove our value.
- Bridge the gap between us and our clients. You'll be the main technical point of contact for our customers, building strong relationships with everyone from developers and product managers to C-level executives. You'll answer the tough questions and make sure the technical details are aligned.
- Work cross-functionally. You'll work closely with our Product and Engineering teams, giving them crucial feedback from the field to help shape our product roadmap. Your insights will directly influence what we build next.
- Level up the GTM team. You'll create content that helps the entire sales team, and you'll share your knowledge to help mentor and guide your peers.
Qualifications (Required) :
At least 5 years of experience in a sales engineering, solutions architect, or similar pre-sales role, specifically with enterprise clientsStrong grasp of APIs, webhooks, and app-based integrationsNatural problem solving abilities. You can think on your feet, break down complex technical issues, and communicate them simply to both technical and non-technical audiencesPassion for building relationships and can earn the trust of a diverse group of stakeholdersProven track record of managing complex deals with minimal supervisionSelf-motivation and a love of the freedom to execute your strategyExperience working with (and winning) large enterprise RFPsGoal-oriented, and energized by the prospect of winning big dealsQualifications (Preferred) :
Previous experience in FinTech, embedded finance, or payments infrastructureExperience selling into or working with gig marketplaces or vertical SaaS platformsUnderstands cybersecurity issues and risksProficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Java, C#)Familiarity with risk, regulatory, and compliance considerations in financial servicesCompensation :
The base salary range for this role is $130-150k. This range excludes commission / bonus.
The salary range displayed reflects an average base salary range for the position across all the U.S. The base salary offered to an applicant could be higher or lower based on each applicant's specific skill set, depth of experience, relevant education or training, etc.
