Position Overview

Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct a range of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety during procedures, explaining each phase with transparency and empathy
• Work closely with radiologists and referring physicians to obtain top-notch diagnostic images
• Operate and maintain imaging machinery, promptly reporting any equipment issues
• Accurately document imaging procedures and maintain patient records in our electronic medical system
• Remain up-to-date with advancements in ultrasound imaging methodologies and best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related discipline
• Preference for completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program

Certifications Required

• Active certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is favorable

Skills Needed

• Strong technical expertise in sonographic imaging and patient positioning
