Associate Attorney - Litigation

Candidate Profile

• JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record
• Active Bar Admission in Florida, in good standing
• 4+ years of general litigation experience across a broad range of practices
• Prior law firm experience is required
• Highly proficient in managing cases from inception to resolution, including conducting legal research, preparing for trial, drafting legal documents, and appearing in court
• Completion of a federal court clerkship is preferred
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, with a meticulous attention to detail and sound business judgment
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to work independently
• Excellent communication, writing, legal research, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Key Responsibilities

• Manage cases from inception to resolution, including participating in depositions, hearings, and trials
• Support senior attorneys in case development, strategy, and client communications
• Handle trial preparation and discovery, including drafting discovery requests and responses, and reviewing evidence
• Conduct legal research and draft memoranda, motions, briefs, and other court filings
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders
• Engage in pro bono matters to support underserved communities
