A hospital off of the Mississippi River needs a hospitalist that can cover ER duties to help cover when their core team is unavailable due to sickness, vacation, etc. See details below and apply today! Details

  • Setting : ED / Hospitalist comfortable with covering ER duties in Guttenberg, IA

Level 4 Trauma

  • 72 hour shifts Friday-Sunday (in house)
  • Annual ER volume : 2200
  • 50% of total hospital admissions received from ED
  • 10% of ED patients admitted per day, 5% of ED patients transferred per day
  • No OB cases
  • ED / Hospitalist will manage critically ill patients (no ICU on site - would transfer)
  • Schedule : 24 hour call, 8a-8p

    • Required

  • Board certified (ABMS, AOA)
  • Must have ED experience
  • Active IA license
  • Must be local candidate given sporadic nature of the need
  • BLS, ACLS, ATLS, PALS, NRP

    • Compensation

  • Paid weekly - pay negotiable
  • 100% of malpractice insurance covered
