Job Title : Material Handler - 1st Shift
Location : Torrance, CA
Pay Rate : $17.28 per hour
Shift : 1st Shift (Day Shift)
Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our 1st shift team in Torrance. The Material Handler is responsible for receiving, moving, storing, and distributing materials within the warehouse while maintaining safety, accuracy, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and move materials manually or using material handling equipment
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments
- Pick, pack, and stage orders for production or shipment
- Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation
- Operate pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other warehouse equipment (forklift if certified)
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards
- Follow company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
- Assist with general warehouse duties as assigned
