As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at an educational location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. Your visible presence and commitment to exceptional customer service will help to deter security-related incidents while fostering a positive atmosphere. Position Type : Part Time

Pay Rate : $22.66 / Hour

Job Schedule :

  • Sat 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM
  • Sun 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

    • What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service to clients, students, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the school campus and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or suspicious behavior.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter unauthorized access and promote a secure environment within the educational setting.
  • Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences according to Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.
  • Work collaboratively with school administration and local law enforcement when necessary to address security-related concerns.
  • Remain alert and prepared to respond to potential threats or emergencies in a manner consistent with Allied Universal's policies and procedures.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
