Job Summary : We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Entry Level Communications Assistant to join our dynamic team. In this crucial role, you will support the communications and marketing efforts of our organization by assisting in the development and implementation of communication strategies that enhance our brand visibility and engage our target audience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in creating and distributing engaging content for various communication channels, including social media, newsletters, and websites.
  • Support the development and execution of communication strategies and campaigns.
  • Monitor media coverage and prepare reports on the effectiveness of communication efforts.
  • Collaborate with team members to brainstorm and develop new ideas for content and outreach initiatives.
  • Help organize and coordinate events, including meetings, press conferences, and community outreach activities.
  • Maintain and update the communications calendar to ensure timely execution of projects.
  • Respond to inquiries from the media and the public in a timely and professional manner.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in social media platforms and content management systems.
  • Basic knowledge of graphic design principles and tools is a plus.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
