Position Title : Head of Contract Operations (Government IDIQ Program)

Reports To : GM Dedrone Defense

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Head of Contract Operations to lead the execution of a large multi-year Indefinite Delivery / Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) government contract. This individual will oversee multiple task orders subcontracts and customer relationships across a complex dynamic program environment. The role requires a combination of strategic leadership operational excellence and deep understanding of government contracting .

Key Responsibilities

Program Leadership & Delivery

• Serve as the overall lead for all contract activities ensuring program objectives deliverables and compliance requirements are met across all task orders.
• Provide strategic direction and oversight of all project teams supporting government customers under the IDIQ vehicle.
• Develop and manage program execution frameworks to ensure consistent performance reporting and communication across all workstreams.
• Anticipate program risks and implement proactive mitigation and recovery plans .
• Act as the primary interface with senior government stakeholders contracting officers and contracting officer representatives (CORs).

The Pay : Axon is a total compensation company meaning compensation is made up of base pay bonus and stock awards. The starting base pay for this role is between USD 149625 in the lowest geographic market and USD 239400 in the highest geographic market. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors such as : level function training transferable skills work experience business needs geographic market and often a combination of all these factors.
