About the Position

LocumJobsOnline is working with Barton Associates to find a qualified Neuro - Neurocritical Care NP in Arkansas!

We are seeking an experienced Neurocritical Care Nurse Practitioner for a 4-day locum tenens assignment in Arkansas. This opportunity begins Dec 28, 2025, and offers nighttime 12-hour shifts (7p-7a) providing coverage for a Neuro ICU, including New Years coverage.

Schedule : 7p-7a, Dec 28 through Jan 1; four consecutive 12-hour night shifts

Responsibilities and Duties

Provide nighttime coverage for a Neuro ICU

Manage care for critically ill and high-acuity patients

Oversee cases including stroke, brain / head trauma, aneurysm, and encephalitis

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient outcomes

Document clinical assessments and interventions according to facility standards

Additional Information

Must have active AR NP license

Must have critical care experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) certification required

Board certification not required for this assignment
