Schedule Details :

Nights

8 and 12-hour shifts

Every third weekend rotation

Holiday rotation

Sign-On Bonus : $15,000 for 3rd Shift

Unit Overview :

Join our 24-bed Neurosurgical Unit , where you'll care for a diverse and complex patient population :

Post-operative care for craniotomies, cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine surgeries

Care for hemorrhagic and ischemic stroke patients as part of our Comprehensive Stroke Program

High volume of cervical and spinal surgery patients

As part of the Aurora Neuroscience Innovation Institute (ANII) , this unit provides exposure to the latest neurosurgical techniques and advanced patient care.

Your Responsibilities :

Deliver and coordinate comprehensive, evidence-based nursing care

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective care

Utilize clinical judgment and communication skills to support patient outcomes

Contribute to positive patient experiences throughout care

Major Responsibilities :

Utilize the nursing process to assess and implement individualized patient care plans.

Monitor patient conditions and adjust care plans as necessary.

Qualifications :

Registered Nurse license in the state of practice

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Completion of an accredited nursing program

Typically requires 1 year of clinical nursing experience

Proficient in electronic medical records and communication skills

Demonstrates strong problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills

Physical Requirements :

Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and transferring patients.

Exposure to hazardous materials requiring protective equipment.

Functional ability to communicate and perform tasks effectively.
