Claims Analyst

HumanHire is working with one of the largest insurance companies in New York, to help find a Claims Analyst for their White Plains office. This company has been around for over 75 years and this person will be sitting out of their healthcare claims department

Whats in it for you?

• Location: White Plains, NY
• Pay: Up to $22/hour (plus weekly pay, full benefits, 401K, bonus opportunities & more!)
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8AM-4:15PM

What you'll be doing:

• Review and analyze documentation to ensure accurate coding and billing
• Verify insurance coverage and obtain necessary authorizations for services
• File and maintain records and insurance claims in an organized manner
• Assist with insurance claim denials and appeals process
• Research and perform claim investigations, update claims system with relevant notes, and handle various claim-related tasks

What they're seeking:

• Associates Degree required
• Strong organizational skills to manage and maintain accurate medical records
• Experience in medical billing or AMA coding
• Attention to detail to ensure accurate coding and billing procedures
• Knowledge of medical & insurance terminology and verification processes
