Software Engineer with Security Clearance

This position requires an active DoD Clearance (Top Secret / SCI) Because an active DoD clearance is required, U.S. Citizenship is required TEKsystems is looking for multiple Software Dev to support a Defense contract in Denver, Co. Opportunities for mid-level Principal Software Engineers and Senior Principal Software Engineers (compensation will be adjusted according to experience) Principle Software Engineer- Basic Qualifications : Bachelor's degree in Science with 5 years of software development experience; 3 years with a Master's; 0 years with a PhD; or 4 additional years of experience in lieu of a degree. Experience as a front-end, back-end, or full-stack developer Experience developing on teams using Agile methodology, process, and tools Experience designing, developing, and troubleshooting in Java Experience using object oriented design Experience using version control software Current Top Secret / SCI security clearance required to apply Candidate must be able to obtain a Counterintelligence Polygraph (CI-Poly) Preferred Qualifications : It is preferred that a given candidate has some of the preferred qualification below. Experience designing, developing, and troubleshooting in C++, C, Python, and / or JavaScript Experience designing, developing, and troubleshooting in virtualized environments (VMs, AWS Cloud Instances) Experience with software development on Red Hat Enterprise Linux Experience with Dockerization and Container Management (Dockers and Kubernetes) Experience with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket) Experience with AWS Services Experience with software system integration, testing, and deployment, including but not limited to automation Experience with DevOps and / or Site Reliability Engineering Senior Principal Software Engineer Basic Qualifications : Bachelor's degree in Science with 9 years of software development experience; 7 years with a Master's; 0 years with a PhD; or 4 additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. Experience as a front-end, back-end, or full-stack developer Experience developing on teams using Agile methodology, process, and tools Experience designing, developing, and troubleshooting in Java Experience using object oriented design Experience using version control software Must have a current Top Secret security clearance and the ability to qualify for an SCI to be considered Must be able to obtain a Counterintelligence Polygraph (CI-Poly) Offers are contingent upon receiving the Top Secret (TS) / SCI clearance Preferred Qualifications It is preferred that a given candidate has some of the preferred qualification below.
