Position Overview GSI Environmental Inc. is seeking an Accounts Payable Associate with excellent verbal and written communication skills for a full time position in the Houston, TX (Corporate) office. The Accounts Payable Associate position will be responsible for providing administrative support to the finance and accounting team with primary responsibility for all accounts payable functions.

Responsibilities - Perform day to day processing of accounts payable transactions using Deltek Ajera
- Receive and process vendor invoices
- Source approvals based on limits of authority and manage AP inbox
- Enter invoices in accounting system for payment
- Help facilitate bi-weekly check runs
- Prepare vendor checks for mailing
- Assist with other projects and support as needed
- Deposit and log receipts daily using a remote desktop deposit machine
- High school diploma required
- 2-5 years AP experience preferred
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Proficient in English and Microsoft Office Suite
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail with a knack for numbers
- Professional and reliable time management
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Aptitude for learning accounting software and Excel
- High level of integrity and ethical behavior
- Ability to work in-office at a minimum of 3 days per week
