[job_card.job_description]Education : Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. Experience : Prior public accounting experience, with 5-7 years in tax-related work. Certification : Active CPA or EA license. Industry Knowledge : Experience in Healthcare, Dentists, Professional Services, Real Estate, and / or Manufacturing industries is preferred. Skills : Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Authorization : Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship. Leadership experience within the tax field. Exposure to a variety of industries and the ability to interpret financial statements. Generous paid time off and holiday schedule. Typical Day in the Life
As a Tax Manager / Senior Manager, you’ll :
- Lead staff to ensure timely, accurate completion of individual and business tax returns.
- Review, approve, and sign off on tax returns for client distribution.
- Mentor and support staff to help them enhance their skills and further their careers.
- Gather and analyze tax-related information from clients to prepare accurate returns.
- Apply multiple perspectives to tax situations to maximize client benefits.
- Network and build relationships to attract new clients and business opportunities.
- Manage billing for services provided.
