The Systems Engineering and Test Center (SETC) organization is currently hiring a Sr. Systems Engineer - Jumping Cholla Systems Engineering (SE) Individual Contributor to join our Tucson, AZ location. Jumping Cholla is a fast-paced, cutting edge, technology development program supporting an immediate customer need. As a Sr. Systems Engineer - Jumping Cholla SE Individual Contributor , you will join the Jumping Cholla program as a member of the Systems, Performance, Algorithms, Software, and Simulations Team. You will be responsible for requirements and architecture development & management, verification planning, and IPT design support activities. This includes specification tree creation & maintenance, system architecture development, systems requirements decomposition, system verification planning, and coordinating with program IPTs as the Responsible Systems Engineer (RSE). You will be responsible for developing and maintaining SE Artifacts. These responsibilities include coordination across teams, sharing program knowledge, mentoring engineers, and working with technical and program leaders.

What You Will Do

• Develop, update, maintain, and improve systems architecture design and drawings
• Develop, Update, maintain, and improve requirements and requirements documentation
• Facilitate knowledge transfer within assigned IPT and across all teams
• Ensure technical rigor of systems engineer documents
• Coordinate with technical leads to execution program tasks
• Develop materials for customer meetings (Formal Technical Reviews, Technical Interface Meetings, status meetings, etc.) and brief customer representatives

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education / training, and key skills.
