We are an entrepreneurial business litigation law firm on track for aggressive growth. We need an experienced commercial litigation associate to join our team and work directly with the owner and attorneys to support the team and help our clients.

We want to be known for helping our clients resolve their business litigation disputes and feel that they have a team behind them that cares and fights for them. We are growing fast and need an experienced commercial litigation associate who can handle a case from pre‑litigation to trial.

Responsibilities

Case Management :

Lead and manage all aspects of business litigation matters, including case strategy, discovery, motions practice, depositions, trial preparation, and trial.

Client Interaction :

Serve as the primary point of contact for clients on assigned cases, providing strategic legal counsel and maintaining strong client relationships.

Legal Research and Writing :

Conduct thorough legal research, draft, and review pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents with precision and attention to detail.

Discovery Management :

Oversee and manage the discovery process, including document review, production, and the preparation of witnesses for depositions and trial testimony.

Court Appearances :

Represent clients in court at hearings, trials, and other legal proceedings, demonstrating strong oral advocacy skills.

Mentorship :

Provide guidance and mentorship to junior associates and staff, fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment.

Ethical Compliance :

Ensure all actions and practices are in compliance with applicable laws, ethical standards, and the firm’s policies.

Minimum five (5 to 7) years of commercial litigation experience.

Trial experience is a plus.

We love to help people learn and grow. But we don’t have time for that right now. We need a litigation associate with experience in commercial / business litigation. The ideal candidate will be able to take the initiative on work that needs to be done and complete tasks without handholding.

The position is a full‑time job with the expectation that you will manage a caseload from pre‑litigation through trial. The salary for this position is between $185,000 - $195,000. There is an opportunity for bonus compensation for those who can demonstrate their profitability.
