Our fast-paced automotive group is seeking a BDC (Business Development Center) Manager to lead and energize our in-house team of appointment setters and customer communication experts.
We’re not looking for someone to “manage”—we’re looking for someone to lead from the front. The perfect candidate thrives in high-volume phone environments, knows how to talk to every kind of customer, and understands how proper follow-up turns opportunities into appointments.

Qualifications
- Proven BDC experience in the automotive industry—2+ years minimum.
- A passion for winning—mediocrity isn’t in your vocabulary.
- Exceptional phone presence—able to control the call, build rapport, and ask for the appointment.
- Light-to-moderate negotiation skills—able to confidently talk pricing when needed to secure commitment.
- CRM fluency (VinSolutions, Elead, DealerSocket, or similar) and a love for data and accountability,
- Comfort with high outbound volume and a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Strong leadership instincts—you don’t wait for someone to tell you what to fix. You spot it and solve it.
- Drug Testing & Background Check Required.
- High School Diploma or GED (required)
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Responsibilities
- Leading a team of BDC representatives with clarity, urgency, and accountability.
- Driving appointment set rates across sales and service through disciplined phone, text, and email follow-up.
- Holding daily phone power hours and tracking outbound/inbound performance metrics.
- Training and coaching sales reps on phone handling, objection handling, and customer experience.
- Working closely with the sales managers and internet departments to coordinate appointment handoffs and improve show rates.
- Maintaining CRM accountability—ensuring follow-up tasks are completed with zero drop-off.
- Jumping on the phone when necessary to handle high-value customers, heated scenarios, or close tough appointments.
