Clean and Check Technician / Apprentice

JNL Climate Control has been a trusted name in the industry since 1991. We continue to serve our communities of Northern Illinois with high-quality craftsmanship and exceptional customer service. We are currently looking for an HVAC Clean and Check Tech / Apprentice to join our team on the cleaning side. You need to have at least a year of experience performing cleanings on AC units and furnaces. Pay Rate : $23.00 / hr. - $29.00 / hr.- Depending on Experience

Responsibilities :

  • Assist the Lead HVAC Service Technician with more difficult tasks
  • Conduct AC and furnace cleanings
  • Communicate with the homeowners
  • Adhere to industry and company safety protocols
  • Manage project timelines and work scope
  • Keep track of tools, take care of equipment
  • Learn and develop in the trade
  • Maintain a professional appearance

    • Requirements :

  • 1-2 years of residential HVAC maintenance experience
  • Completion of a trade school is preferred
  • Willingness to work hard
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • EPA Certification
  • Valid driver's license and insurable driving record
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs, access crawlspace and attics, use ladders
  • Must be able to work extended hours during peak seasons

  • NATE Certification preferred but not required
