Housekeeping Supervisor to join the team! The comfort and care of our residents is our highest priority.
The
Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for directing, training, and supervising the housekeeping and laundry staff. Assures the cleanliness and orderliness of the building is maintained according to Brandywine standards at all times.
- Develops cleaning schedules and ensures that they are followed.
- Responsible for all housekeeping in the building including apartments, offices, lounges, common areas, and exterior entrances.
- Inspects apartments on a weekly schedule.
- Issues appropriate keys to housekeepers daily and maintains control of the key system.
- Ensures that the annual cleanings are scheduled and completed on a timely basis.
- Responsible for ensuring all housekeeping and laundry equipment is cleaned on a scheduled basis and in good operating order.
- Ensures all community and resident laundry is completed on a timely basis.
- Orders and maintains an inventory of housekeeping and laundry supplies.
- Orders through DSSI and maintains inventory on all linens.
- Maintains lists of residents requiring extra cleaning and linens and submits them to the bookkeeper monthly.
- Assists with cleaning apartments and/or common areas.
- Participates in all department head meetings and other staff meetings as requested.
- Maintains expenses for a department within budget limits.
- Moves furniture as needed.
