Located in Seymour WI 15-20-minute drive from both Green Bay and Appleton
Full-Time, Days Exempt position based on 80 hours per 2-week pay period; additional shifts and hours as required

EDUCATIONAL AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Four-year nursing degree preferred. Must be licensed in the State of WI as a Registered Nurse
- Director of Nursing experience preferred.
- Long term care experience required.
- Basic nursing practice and principles
- Basic medical and geriatric principles and concepts
- Basic administrative principles and practices
- Regulatory, social, political and economic issues that relate to provision of nursing services in the long-term care setting
- Approved Infection Preventionist education and training through the CDC
Purpose of Job Position :
The job duties of the Director of Nursing (DON) are all-encompassing. Directly responsible for GSS nursing staff, the DON is accountable and responsible for planning, directing and evaluating activities of the nursing department, including implementation of the department's philosophy and goals, standards for nursing practice and the management and development of nursing personnel. The DON provides leadership and direction in all nursing matters.
