Security Engineer

A company is looking for a Security Engineer responsible for implementing, maintaining, and optimizing security tooling.

Key Responsibilities

Implements and maintains security tooling, ensuring proper configurations and applying Security-by-Design principles

Collaborates with infrastructure and Client Services teams to ensure platforms are configured for visibility

Develops and implements security automation scripts and tools to streamline operations and conducts technical vulnerability remediation

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

5+ years of experience in security engineering or a similar technical role

Hands-on experience with security technologies such as firewalls, EDR, cloud security controls, and SIEM

Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell)

Relevant certifications such as Security+, CCNP Security, or relevant cloud certifications
