Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Billing Coordinator to join our dynamic law firm. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in legal billing, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Key Responsibilities :

Compile, manage, and execute monthly client billing.

Process complex legal billing accurately and efficiently in accordance with client fee agreements and attorney instructions.

Review and edit proformas in response to attorney and paralegal requests.

Finalize and post invoices using Elite 3E, the firm's financial software.

Maintain contact with attorneys, staff, vendors, and clients, observing confidentiality of client and firm matters.

Conduct AR and Collections efforts with clients.

Utilize accounting software and billing programs (e.g., Elite 3E) as well as MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Assist with data updates and special projects as needed.

Qualifications

College degree preferred.

4+ years of legal billing experience in a law firm or professional services environment.

Proficiency with Elite 3E legal billing software.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Ability to handle a high volume of invoices with accuracy and efficiency.

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with attorneys and other staff members.

Salary

The salary range for this position is $70,000 - $110,000 annually
