About Us

CT Labor Department Federal Credit Union is a small member-focused cooperative financial institution serving CT Labor Department employees and their families. We pride ourselves on personal service strong member relationships and a welcoming environment where each member is treated with respect and care.

Position Overview

We are seeking a friendly reliable Full-Time Teller to join our team in Wethersfield CT. This role is responsible for providing exceptional member service processing routine financial transactions and supporting the credit unions mission to help members achieve financial well-being.

Responsibilities

  • Process deposits withdrawals transfers loan payments and other standard teller transactions.
  • Balance cash drawer daily with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Assist members with questions account updates and product explanations.
  • Promote credit union products services and digital banking tools.
  • Support branch operations and follow all compliance and security procedures.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Prior teller experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience with the FLEX core system preferred.
  • Cash-handling experience and strong numerical accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to learn and use credit union systems procedures and technology.
  • Professional dependable and enthusiastic about member service.
