TravelNurseSource is working with Prime Staffing to find a qualified PACU / Pre-Post Op RN in Charleston, South Carolina, 29410!

About the Position

Specialty : RN – Pre-Operative (Pre-Op)

Experience : 1–2 years of recent pre-op or perioperative nursing experience preferred

License : Active State or Compact RN License

Certifications : BLS – AHA; ACLS preferred

Must-Have : Strong assessment skills, ability to educate patients before procedures, and effective communication with surgical teams

Description : The Pre-Op RN is responsible for preparing patients for surgery by conducting thorough assessments, verifying pre-surgical instructions, initiating IVs, administering medications, and coordinating with the surgical and anesthesia teams to ensure patient safety and readiness.

• Active RN License
• BLS
• ACLS(preferred)
