Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (NP) - (Full-Time Exempt)

DEPARTMENT : Family Health Center

SHIFT : 8 Hour Shifts - Exempt

POSITION SUMMARY

The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner is responsible for the day-to-day management of patients in the outpatient setting. The Provider manages the behavioral health of patients by providing evaluation and management of acute and chronic illnesses / conditions. The Provider is responsible for the coordination of care with specialists and appropriate ancillary services and shall work collaboratively with all members of the health care team.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

• Provide care to patients through ongoing assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Enhance the quality of patient management and satisfaction through support and collaboration with various internal and external programs / organizations.
• All other duties or responsibilities as assigned.
