Our team partners with nonprofits to configure, optimize, and manage donor databases and fundraising tools so that they can focus on their mission.Our growing team includes our Founder / Principal Consultant and a Senior Database Consultant, and we are now seeking a Database Associate to help support client projects and administrative needs.Role SummaryThe Database Associate will play a key role in supporting our nonprofit clients with database management, system configuration, and process optimization. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and eager to learn best practices in nonprofit data management, CRM systems, fundraising tools, and project management.Youll work closely with both our Founder / Principal Consultant and Senior Consultant on client projects while gradually managing more independent tasks as your expertise grows.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in configuring, customizing, and maintaining nonprofit CRMs (e.g., Bloomerang, DonorPerfect, Neon, Raisers Edge, etc...).Support data imports, exports, cleaning, and reporting for client organizationsDocument client processes and project tasks to ensure consistent knowledge-sharing across the teamTroubleshoot issues and provide timely client support for routine technical needsConduct research and testing to identify best-fit solutions for client data needs and fundraising workflowsCollaborate with the consulting team to implement database improvements and fundraising platform integrationsParticipate in regular client meetings, capturing notes and assisting with follow-up tasksAssist with administrative support including scheduling client calls, preparing agendas and setting up client profiles in our client management systemStay informed about nonprofit technology trends and CRM platform updatesAttend weekly virtual staff meetings and two annual, one-day team retreatsQualificationsRequired : Bachelors DegreePrevious nonprofit experienceStrong attention to detail, problem-solving, and analytical skillsComfort with technology, including spreadsheets (Excel / Google Sheets) and data management tasksExcellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly in client-facing contextsAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentA collaborative mindset and eagerness to learn from more senior team membersPreferred : Experience with nonprofit CRMs, particularly Bloomerang CRM and Bloomerang Fundraising, and / or other fundraising platforms.
