Laboratory technician, Embryology

We are currently looking for a Laboratory Technician to join our team at our Boviteq Madison, WI Lab. In this role, you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for the positive and professional relationships Semex & Boviteq have built with our global customers, breeders, distributors, and partners.

Responsibilities:

• Maturation, fertilization and culture of bovine oocytes
• Freezing, grading, and packaging of embryos for shipment
• Record keeping and care maintenance of equipment
  

Qualifications:

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Knowledge of microscopes, pipetting and aseptic techniques is an advantage
• Attention to detail and strong communication skills
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Previous agriculture experience is a plus
